WHAT IS A FIREWISE HOME SUPPORT TEAM VISIT?
Home Visits will be conducted on the Kenai Peninsula on a first-come, first-serve basis during the spring and summer. Participants will be visited by trained FireWise Member, who will review the features of your home and property and make recommendations regarding how you could enhance the FireWise characteristics of your property. It is up to the homeowner to perform any of the recommendations of the FireWise employees.Teams will support and assist individual homeowners in understanding and applying the Firewise principals applicable to their home, in order to reduce the risks of wildland fire and structural ignitability.
